Professional Development

The objective of the Professional Development Committee is to provide educational opportunities to promote personal and professional growth. Make your professional growth a priority in 2005! NMA Professional Development programs can help you make a commitment to self-improvement and keep your skills current.

Our chapter is offering a variety of classes at times and locations that will make it easy to attend. The chapter is committed to providing quality programs that make sure your time investment is worthwhile. Classes will range from one hour ‘brown bag’ lunch classes in LM2, LM8 and LM12, to classes that will prepare you to take the Certified Manager examination. New learning opportunities will be offered on LM21 Greenbelt Training and also mini-lectures sessions from mid to upper level mangers as well as outside industry leaders called the Lunchtime Leader Series.  For more information contact Jaime Valverde at (281) 218-3009.

If you are new to supervision or management (or leading projects or some day hope to), NMA classes will help ensure that you have the skills you need to be successful. It is possible to take the whole series or pick classes that focus on specific skills that you want to improve.
