The NMA Peach
Council is an organization comprised of National Management Association (NMA)
chapters and individual members located throughout
The purpose of the
Council is to provide a network for sharing of information and provide a place
for gathering and supporting individual chapter representatives. Council delegates are appointed by their
individual chapters and meet on a quarterly basis within the Council area.
The Council meets
to provide strength, seminars, and ideas for chapter growth by networking with
other chapters within the council area.
Through this unique exchange of information and ideas, council delegates
are able to build on the proven successes of shared chapter activities and
programs.

The NMA Peach
Council was chartered on
The NMA Peach
Council hosted its first Southeast Area Chapter Management Conference (CMC) in
April 1990 in
The council
competes for national awards at the annual NMA National Conference based upon
Council activities and performance throughout the year.

The Council
continually strives to maintain a professional organization dedicated to the
objectives of the NMA corporate structure.
However, the personal objectives of the Council are to:

Cost

Dues
and fees are collected to help defray the cost associated with activities
supported by the council.
The
following are the types of dues and fees.

Each quarterly

Annual
dues are to be paid prior to July 1st to the Treasurer of the Peach
Council.
Registration
fee are due from each chapter attending with a minimum of $40.00 per chapter.
Individual
members are charged a registration fee of $20.00 each. They do not pay annual dues.
Meetings

Peach
Council delegates are notified of quarterly meetings by the hosting chapter and
are established and published in June of each year.
Hosting
responsibilities are alternated between chapters & independent members,
with each chapter/independent member hosting a meeting within the year.

Activities Planned by Hosting Chapter
The Friday welcome
dinner is optional and is provided so that those choosing to arrive early can meet,
socialize and network with other chapter delegates.
The Saturday
workshop and business meeting begins at

meeting is business casual; however, business attire is required for the annual
American Free Enterprise Speech Contest, Presentation of the Gold Knight of
Management Award or other announced special meetings.
